About Us 

Well where to begin....mmm....

We originally had the idea of starting up a toy company after the birth of our first child in 2002.  In 2003, we created Claphands.co.uk Ltd, which lay dormant until early 2008, due to work commitments, and in no small part to an additional two little ones! 

The urge to give the idea a go became too strong so we started to trade on eBay.  This was closely followed by the claphands website, which has now been replaced by this one.  The name Mad Moo Toys is taken from our little girls nickname - she is a little crazy sometimes!

Mad Moo Toys aim to provide great wooden toys that captivate, educate, and stimulate little hearts and minds.  We hold a variety of attractively priced products and gifts that you wouldn't normally find on the High Street, quality with a difference.

As a smaller company we can be very competitive on pricing including delivery fees, and to go the extra mile in providing excellent customer service. 

We are always willing to answer any questions that you may have - feel free to pick up the phone or send us an email.  For example, if there are items that you would like but we do not list then please contact us and provide some details.  We will look to source them, and provide a better price where we can. 

The majority of our toys and gifts are traditional wood based items.  Where possible we source those that are environmentally friendly and from a sustainable source.

We try and recycle as much packaging as we can, and ONLY PURCHASE "NEW" recycled bags and packaging when necessary. 

We will soon begin donating monies to the NSPCC and The Woodland Trust.  It feels right for us to support a childrens' charity along with another that looks to protect our national woodland.
